Cloudways/Vultr Outages

All the @vultr -hosted sites we monitor appear to be back up as of ~10 minutes ago, so we’re closing this incident. We’ll re-open it if things get messy again.

@Vultr has acknowledged the issue on their status page. So… at least they’ve acknowledged it and are working on it. No other details as of yet, though:

Vultr Network Outage

We are currently experiencing an outage affecting the Vultr network. Our network engineers are actively working with our upstream providers to restore connectivity as quickly as possible.

From @Cloudways support:

“Unfortunately, there has been an on going issue [ at @vultr ] on which the team is tirelessly working & we are in touch with them. We would really appreciate your co-operation & understanding in this regard?”

We’ve just received outage notifications for about a dozen sites that are hosted at Cloudways, using Vultr as the underlying provider in either Dallas or Chicago (updated: and Atlanta).

We’ll update this issue as we get more information.
