Widget Block Editor is ok to use. But also ok to use the Classic Widgets plugin.

In WordPress 5.8 and later, the Widget Block Editor was introduced as the default widget editor. The Widget Block Editor may not render an accurate preview, especially for Legacy widgets.
More details regarding this problem can be found in various WordPress issue tickets like:
We recommend installing the “Classic Widgets” plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/classic-widgets/) to disable the new Widget Block Editor for the time being.
The Genesis theme 3.3.4 disabled the Widget Block Editor but you may wish to consider installing the plugin anyway.
