Updates

Resolved

It looks like Cloudflare has this resolved and things are working normally now. (They’re still tidying up a few things, but I think we’re out of the woods.)

I’ve flushed the Cloudflare Cache again just to make sure any content changes today are actually live for all sites and I think we’re all set.

Update

From Cloudflare: “Cloudflare has identified the root cause as related to a database replication issue due to a configuration error. It was not related to any outside event or traffic. We are working on fully restoring the database cluster. In the interim, we have restored functionality to most services with replicas but users will see increased latency and intermittent issues in the dashboard that in most cases will be addressed with retry. We will provide another update in 60 minutes.”

We just managed to do a full cache purge through the Cloudflare Dashboard, so any changes made to your content in the past few hours should be visible to your readers.

Issue

The Cloudflare API is having issues at the moment - this will affect the ability to clear the cache.

At this point it appears that content serving is not affected, but if any changes are made to cached content, the older version may continue to be served.

Cloudflare is aware of the issue, and will post updates here: https://www.cloudflarestatus.com/incidents/9ggr0k6dwzwg
