🛑 WP Rocket 3.17.2 - Don't Update

The category and archive page error was addressed by WP Rocket in a hotfix with WP Rocket version 3.17.2.1 and ok to start updating to.

WP Rocket identified this as a bug with their WebP Add-On features.

Most sites should not have this enabled, so even if updated to 3.17.2, this should not be a problem on most sites.

HOWEVER, since it’s not easy to tell which sites have this enabled, we’ve rolled back all sites to an earlier version. And we recommend not updating WP Rocket until we give the go-ahead.

Hey, All! We’ve identified an issue with WP Rocket version 3.17.2 that causes breaking issues (white screen of death) to paginated category pages (page 2, page 3, page 4).
