Tasty Recipes - Please Don't Update

Tasty Recipes has rolled back the anonymous ratings feature with the latest version. All good to update!

In the newest version of Taste Recipes, version 3.12, they launched a one-click ratings feature that allows visitors to leave a 4 or 5-star rating anonymously.

On some sites (perhaps all on this version), the anonymous ratings are displayed as anonymous comments on the front-end of the site. This is causing comment schema errors for these comments that are missing an author and Search Console is sending out error notices.

We’ve contacted the developer about the issue.

Please don’t update Tasty Recipes to 3.12 for now. If you have updated, please contact our team via email to help you roll back, as this is a premium plugin.

Many sites haven’t been updated to this version quite yet. If your site was one of the few our team updated before this issue was discovered, we’re rolling these all back to the last version to prevent more anonymous ratings and comments.
