WordPress 6.2

Our current recommended version of WordPress Core is 6.2.2 and it is fine to go ahead and update to this version.

Talk from the WordPress core team is that they’ll release WordPress core version 6.2.1 at the end of April 2023 to address a list of bugs. For the time being, our recommended version of WordPress is still 6.1.1. We anticipate updating to 6.2.1 in May if it’s released at the end of April.

Compatibility issues with the new WordPress core version, 6.2 (released on March 28, 2023), and multiple plugins have been identified. We strongly recommend you do not update to this version until further notice.
