UpdraftPlus 2.23.1

The latest versions of the plugin have resolved the issues.

The UpdraftPlus team is FAST. They’ve released a fix for the issue in version 2.23.2.26. We’ve tested and confirmed the fix is working.

If you’re on plugin version 2.23.1.# please update to 2.23.2.26.

If you haven’t yet updated to 2.23 yet, we recommend holding off until Monday to update.

Don’t Update to 2.23.1

We’ve confirmed a bug in the newest version of UpdraftPlus (2.23.1). When you attempt to run a backup and then update a plugin, updating the plugin may stall and/or fail.

We’re pausing updates to UpdraftPlus until the bug fix is released.

IF YOU MANAGE YOUR OWN UPDATES

We recommend you hold off on updating UpdraftPlus for now. If you’ve already updated, we recommend rolling back to version 2.22.25.

To rollback, download the previous plugin version here -> https://drive.google.com/file/d/1MxzFsOMBSy-MxPcJs7B-_3ZGiocQuSlU/view?usp=share_link.

Then go to “Plugins >> Add New” in the WordPress dashboard and upload the downloaded file. When it asks you if you want to replace the plugin file, say yes and you should be all sset.
